2008 the South Park Music Tour (SPMT) presented 70
independent musician and bands from around the world on 10 showcase stages over
4 days. In addition to the great
entertainment, SPMT featured a world class Music Industry Conference and the
Songsalive Songcamp. Conference speakers included Sean Agnew (CEO &
Founder, Blue Metallic Entertainment & ENN), Gilli Moon (Founder: Warrior
Girl Music, President: Songsalive, Author: I AM A Professional Artist, and Just
Get Out There), Anne Cecere (Associate Director of Film and Television, BMI),
and more. Under the guidance of Gilli
Moon, CR Parsons ,,,, and Larry W, Johnson (Songwriter: Don’t take the Girl –
Tim McGraw), the Songsalive Songcamp provided the extremely unique opportunity
for songwriters to create brand new music at SPMT, which was performed at one
of SPMT’s showcases. The South Park Music Tour attracted approximately 4000
fans per day, with over 40 juried arts, crafts, and food venders.
SPMT
is an environmentally conscious and community minded event. In 2008 all SPMT print materials, i.e.
posters, postcards, stickers, and program guides were printed on recycled
paper. All cups used for serving
beverages were recyclable cups. More
recycling was done during and after the event than any other event in the South Park
area. The money raised from recycling
cans was donated to the local Boys and Girls Club. In addition, 10% of the profit from alcohol
sales was donated to South Park Open, a nonprofit organization which raises
money for the local preschool. We will continue and expand our GREEN and
community efforts with the support of our sponsors like you.
By
sponsoring SPMT, your business will have substantial exposure in one of the

music retailers prior to the event, and to the attendees of the event. SPMT
web-based marketing will extend the reach and exposure of our sponsors to an
even greater audience who will be viewing the festival from our website;
ordering SPMT Compilation CDs, T-shirts, VIP Conference Badges and more.
